You are invited to work on your project in our studio which offers several 4’x8’ cutting tables, sewing tables, 4’x8’ ironing tables, ample power, and a bright spacious 6000 sq/ft work area. We also have personal amenities like coffee and tea, microwave, refrigerators, cable TV, broadband Internet access for those mad quilting weekends, and our computers have the latest EQ5 software. All this is available for a daily studio fee of $10.00. Contact us today to schedule studio time, an orientation or machine time session. Bring Your Equipment Too! You are welcome to bring your sewing and finishing equipment to use in the studio while completing your project. This may also include laptop computers which may be attached to our network for Internet and shared printer services. Use Our Dye Shop We operate a fully equipped dye shop featuring the complete ProChemical line of MX Reactive dyes and agents. We have equipment in support of several hand dying techniques and large capacity rinsing, washing, drying and finishing gear. Longarm Quilting Machine Rental If you’ve ever wanted to complete a project yourself on a longarm quilting machine, or wanted to develop the skills before venturing out and making a significant investment in a machine, we invite you to schedule time on our state‑of‑the‑art and fully equipped Statler enhanced Gammill quilting machine. Our system is based upon a 14’ bed Gammill Optimum system with zippered leaders for easy project mounting and removal. King size pieces are easily accommodated on this system. The head features holders for two 6000 yd spools – one each for sewing and simultaneous bobbin winding - and two arms for additional color or filament threads. Our Optimum also includes the Laser Light tracing feature to follow pantograph patterns from either the front or back of the machine. Quilting machine rental time is available at $10 per hour. No Need To Rush Your project need not be completed in a single day or session. Our system features Zippered Leaders on the three main rollers. This means that you can mount your project, work a few hours and remove your project to continue later. When you’re ready to commence again, simply zip your project back onto the machine and pickup EXACTLY where you left off! State‑of‑the‑Art Computer Control The Statler Stitcher computer control system augments the Gammill by allowing full computer control of the quilting process. Accurate to within 1/1000^th of an inch, the Statler system aids in pattern execution, and assuring the pieces are proper aligned throughout the quilting process. The computer drive is easily disconnected for 100% free motion quilting, or can be rapidly re-engaged for repetitive all over pattern production. Our system currently has over 100 patterns. We enjoy a close working relationship with both Statler and Gammill so that we maintain the latest updates and features that can be found for these systems. Binding and Sewing Equipment Our studio offers the latest in high speed sewing and binding equipment including a Singer 33uE industrial sewing machine, Bind-All binding machine with multiple dimensional attachments, and a DAQ Hemmer blind hemmer. All these systems allow you to finish your projects quickly and professionally for only $5/hr. Use Our Studio By Appointment Use of our studio and equipment is by appointment only. Please contact us and schedule time on our equipment or use of our studio facilities at your convenience. We will do our best to schedule time that meets your project demands and your time constraints. Guilds Welcome! Guilds are invited to visit our studio for a tour and demonstration of all our facilities. We also suggest the use of our studio as the place for your meeting(s) or training/teaching activity. Bring in your guest speaker or educator and use our equipment for your class event.
