Red Quilt House Acquires State-of-the-Art Statler Stitcher System –
Introduces New Service Offering Little Red Quilt House has
taken delivery of a new, state‑of‑the‑art Statler Stitcher
system that will become the basis for a new series of quilting support and
finishing services. The Statler Stitcher System is the creation of Paul
Statler (www.statlerstitcher.com), and
is a device that attaches to the most popular long arm quilting machines to bring
computer control and accuracy to the quilting process. The system acquired by
LRQH is a combination of the Statler computer control system attached to a
Gammill Quilting Machines (www.gammill.net) Optimum long arm
quilting machine, featuring a 14’ bed and zippered leaders for fast mounting
and dismounting of projects. The system has been installed by Liberty
Quilting of Voorhees, NJ and the LRQH staff trained by Liberty Quilting owner
Rich Nelson. “This new quilting system
allows us to offer the broadest possible set of finishing services possible,”
said Janice Roy, proprietor of LRQH. “The Statler System allows us to drive
the quilting process with incredible computer accuracy, or to switch on the fly
to hand driven pantograph quilting for unique processes like S.I.D. or the
use of the enormous variety of available patterns.” Mrs. Roy further stated,
“And the zippered leader feature allows us to prepare a quilt for finishing
off the machine while another is in progress, allowing us to quickly mount
and dismount quilts and vastly improving turn around time.” “This means we
charge the same prices as other quilt finishers while delivering a better
