Fairfield, CT – Little
Red Quilt House Signs Advertising Agreement with The
Finnish American Reporter Little Red Quilt House has
today signed a print and web advertising agreement with the Finnish American
Reporter magazine. “This magazine is distributed internationally to people of
Finnish decent and who have a cultural and traditional attraction to hand
crafted products” said Janice Roy, LRQH proprietor. “I am a first generation
American-Finn and have strong connections to both the Finn community in the
USA and in Finland.” Mrs. Roy’s family came to the USA in the 1920’s, her
father aged two at the time and accompanied by his mother and older sister.
“Finns, like other immigrants to the United States, worked together to build
a better life, and hand crafted items like quilts for the person and the home
were a part of early Finn life on this continent.” Mrs. Roy said “I’ve
enjoyed a life long experience with the textile arts and hope to bring the
joy of quilting to others through our kits and support services.” David Maki, Finnish
American Reporter Assistant Editor, said, “We are pleased to add the Little
Red Quilt House to our company of advertisers offering products of quality
and craftsmanship to the consumer.” Maki added “The Finnish American Reporter
offers small businesses like Little Red Quilt House a global platform to a
community of people linked by a deep and dignified culture and national
identity.” Through this agreement,
Little Red Quilt House hopes to introduce their products and services to the
global market of quilters and textile artists. The Finnish American Reporter
is therefore an ideal medium to reach this audience. Little Red Quilt House is
a 100% woman owned business offering kits, supplies and services for quilt
and other fabric artists. Visit our web site at www.LRQH.com. The Finnish American
Reporter is a monthly, English language journal, established in 1986,
featuring articles and news reports of interest to Finns across North
America, in Finland and around the world. Visit the Finnish Ammerican Reporter on the web at www.FinnishAmericanReporter.com. |
